Hands-on healing, also known as Energy, Radiant or Spiritual Healing, has been practiced by many cultures for thousands of years.\u00a0As we begin to understand that our health is in direct relationship with our mental, emotional and physical energetic patterning, it becomes evident that we hold the power of health in our own hands. I believe that the goal is to move toward integrative healthcare-where the best of both conventional therapies and healing practices are available to all, and providers from both work together for the best patient outcome.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u200b<\/span>All my sessions include a form of energy healing, whether it be Reiki, Access Bars, Color therapy as well as Numerology and Spiritual Counselling.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u200b<\/span>I also offer various in-depth courses from Reiki (Usui based Western Reiki, Karuna Reiki, Gendai & Usui Reiki Ryoho & Lightarian Reiki), Tarot reading, Colour Therapy, Crystal Healing, Past Life regression and\u00a0 Spiritual and Psychic Development worskhops and Spiritual Counselling classes. What is Reiki?<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<\/div>\n

Reiki is pronounced ray-key, it means Universal Life Force Energy.\u00a0 Rei, means Universal and Ki means Energy.\u00a0Reiki is an ancient Japanese form of hands-on healing through Universal Life Energy which is all around us and within us from birth.\u00a0If our supply of life force energy becomes depleted we may become physically and emotionally ill.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u200b<\/span><\/span>Reiki isn’t linked to any religion or specific belief. All that is needed is your willingness to accept this gentle universal energy.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is a treatment like?<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I invite you to lie on a comfortable treatment couch. You remain fully clothed throughout the session.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u200bOnce I have completed my preparation ritual and I’m tuned into Reiki energy, the session can commence. During these sessions, I use a variety of tools, including selenite wands (a high-energy crystal), an amethyst pendulum, Tibetan singing bowls, and other crystals.<\/span><\/p>\n

A selenite wand is used to cleanse your aura and clear negative energy from the physical body. I use my hands to scan your body to sense any stuck energy and where healing is needed.<\/span>\u200b<\/span><\/p>\n

I have been an Usui Reiki Practitioner for 10 years, and I follow my intuition throughout each session. I firmly believe that during Reiki, universal life energy will flow to all parts of the body, and therefore it isn’t always necessary to follow the traditional hand placements.<\/span><\/p>\n

The chakras’ energy centers are balanced with Reiki. I place my hands close to your body over the Crown Chakra at the top of the head, working my way down the body through each of the seven main chakras and placing the appropriate crystal on each chakra.<\/span>\u200b<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

You will draw all the universal life energy needed at that time. Reiki is cumulative, and even though you may not notice much the first time, with each session you will have progressively deeper experiences.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

You may become emotional and experience sensations such as tingling, heat, cold, a cool breeze, or seeing colors while receiving Reiki. All of this is quite normal.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u200b<\/span>After receiving Reiki, you will be energetically rebalanced. You will feel more vitality and yet experience a calmer mind. You will feel grounded and relaxed. You may notice other changes that continue to unfold as the days and weeks progress, like mental clarity and being less reactive and more tired in the evening than usual. This is the body’s natural healing response to Reiki.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Reiki (pronounced -ray-kee) means ‘Universal Life Force’.The Word \u2018Reiki\u2019 can be split into two parts.\u00a0 Rei and Ki.\u00a0 Rei, means Universal, and Ki, means energy. It is a system of healing which accesses universal life force energy. Believed to have originated in Tibet thousands of years ago, It was rediscovered in Japan in the nineteenth century by Mikao Usui, a theologian, who was researching the healing powers of both Jesus and the Buddha.<\/span><\/p>\n


    Reiki is a technique of a very gentle, healing and loving touch that provides optimum relaxation to help heal, balance and revitalize the mind, body and spirit. The two main benefits of Reiki are stress relief and relaxation which also reduces pain and triggers the body’s own natural healing abilites. It is a complementary technique and works hand in hand with all other healing modalities including traditional medical treatment. Reiki is not harmful…it always works for the highest good of the person or situation. Reiki is spiritual, but it is not religious. Reiki is not connected to any religious practice in any way whatsoever. It’s success is not dependent on any belief, just a willingness to be healed.

    Reiki works on all levels to balance the system and unite body, mind, soul and spirit. It helps keep the body in balance to prevent illness and is also used to treat chronic illness and disease (not to be substituted for medical care). Reiki is already used in many cancer centers and hospitals across the world as a complementary treatment to orthodox medicine. There are countless testimonials confirming its beneficial effects on stress and on a variety of physical and emotional conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n

    During the Reiki session the practitioner holds their hands on, or just away from, the recipient’s body. Reiki uses symbols, hand positions, mental intension, loving heart to connect the person to ‘divine light’\/ ‘divine energy’\/ ‘universal life-force energy’ for the purpose of healing and renewal. It awakens healing ability in both the self and others.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
